⭐ Objetivo

Provide the English step-by-step guide to connect HiBob with Lara AI so the employee database stays up to date automatically.

When your organisation uses HiBob as its HR system and the implementation team works in English.

⚙️ Paso a paso

From the Analytics tab in HiBob you must create a new report in csv format, and choose the fields according to the fields required by Lara. If you need to create new fields, you can find details on how to do it here.

You must program it to be sent every day at a specific time (whenever you prefer).

Go to Integrations > Storage > SFTP and there generate a private key.

Generate the public and private keys for the SFTP (keep the private key for your organization and you should never share it with the Lara team).

Share the public key with the Lara AI team so they can make the necessary configurations, and you can integrate with our host.

Our team will confirm when this step is ready.

Once you receive confirmation from Lara AI, enter the destination address, where you can include the following information:

Host: sftp.meetlara.ai
Port: 22
Path: employees

Make a schedule... and that's it! The integration will now be ready.

✅ Buenas prácticas

Ask your HiBob administrator to create the service user and the API credentials. Do not reuse a personal account.

Create the required custom fields before the first sync. If they are missing, the data arrives incomplete.

After the first sync, compare the number of active employees with your payroll.

Sharing credentials over chat instead of the secure channel defined by IT.

Leaving the leader field empty, which breaks the hierarchy and the team dashboards.

Changing the field structure in HiBob without telling the Implementations team.
